Decking tiles Bangkirai hardwood 12mm ribbed. Bangkirai wood is very resistant, hard and long lasting wood, immune to fungi and mould, and they do not penetrate inside due to high density of bangkirai timber.
PLACING ON HARD SURFACE
- Use plastic or rubber supports between the base and the hardwood construction beams
so that they are loose from the ground.
This way the hardwood construction beams are not subject to the elements.
- The hardwood construction beams provide support to the decking tiles at at least 9 points.
- The hardwood construction beams must be placed in the middle of the decking tiles.
- We recommend hardwood or composite construction beams for all decking tiles.
- Ensure there is a 5 mm gap between the decking tiles.
- Never place the decking tiles directly on the ground.
1. Place the hardwood construction beams at least 30mm from the edge
on the supports.
Place the hardwood construction beams at a distance of approximately 30cm.
2. Use 3 hardwood construction beams for decking tiles measuring 50x50cm
for optimal support.
Place the decking tiles on the hardwood construction beams.
3. For decking tiles of 90x90cm and 100x100cm, use 4 hardwood construction beams for optimal support.
Place the decking tiles on the hardwood construction beams.
PLACING ON SOFT SURFACE
A flat surface without weeds is necessary before using the anti-root cloth. Maintain a distance of at least 30 mm between the decking tiles.
- In case of a soft surface, we recommend placing (pavement) tiles under the hardwood construction beams to create a sturdy base.
- The hardwood construction beams provide support to the decking tiles at at least 9 points.
- The hardwood construction beams must be placed in the middle of the decking tiles.
- We recommend hardwood construction beams for all decking tiles.
- Ensure there is a 5 mm space between the decking tiles.
- Never place the decking tiles directly on the ground.
1. First remove all the weeds. Level the surface and use a
anti-root cloth.
2. Place the (sidewalk) tiles on the anti-root cloth.
3. Place the hardwood construction beams on the (pavement) tiles.
The hardwood construction beams are now loose from the ground.
4. Place the decking tiles on the hardwood construction beams. Provide 5 mm place between the decking tiles.
Decking tiles of 50x50cm rest on 3 hardwood construction beams and decking tiles of 90x90cm rest on 4 hardwood construction beams.
