A Rain Barrel collects rainwater, which you can use again for watering your garden and prevents wastage of tap water and / or drinking water. Moreover, a rain barrel relieves the sewer if you connect it to a drainpipe. Legislation nowadays obliges citizens to collect rainwater on your own site, as it would otherwise put too much pressure on our drainage system and water purification. In other words, you help the environment if you purchase a rain barrel. This rain barrel is supplied with a tap, so you can easily fill buckets and watering cans. As an option there is a standard available, so that you can place the barrel higher and therefore watering cans are easier to fill. The rain barrels made of HDPE Code 2 and PP code 5 are for the most part made from recycled plastic, these are not harmful and do not give off any substances to the contents of these rain barrels.
